Since time immemorial, T'satsaot'ine have stayed on the banks of the Weledeh, coming to think of themselves as Weledeh Yellowknives Dene and travelling throughout their traditional lands. As indigenous people, Weledeh Yellowknives Dene were born to their lands and in that sense are part of their lands.
